The legendary islands and crystal blue waters of the Great Barrier Reef are the view from your chosen position lounging on foredeck nets. Languishing under the sails, the gentle breeze changes direction and out of the blue comes the aroma of the gourmet meal being freshly prepared onboard for you.

“Whitsunday Getaway” is a vessel ideal for honeymooners or partners’ wanting a romantic getaway as it only accommodates a maximum of four couples at a time, each with their own private cabin and ensuite ensuring extra privacy. With such an intimate number of guests there is plenty of room to sunbake on the front nets, watch a late release movie on your private DVD player in your cabin, enjoy pleasant conversation with new friends in the plush saloon or just lounge on the back deck with that book you’ve been meaning to read for ages.

THE FOOD
Our cruises are well known for their fabulous food. Even the way our food is presented is important to us. All meals are prepared fresh on board and we promise that no one ever goes hungry. All our passengers rave about the quality and presentation of our meals.

Our nightly BBQs are legendary and a perfect way to end each busy day! (Let us know if you or your friends have any special dietary requirements and we'll make sure they are catered for.)

WHITSUNDAY GETAWAY charters are 2 days and 2 nights duration. Normal departures are: Fridays and Sundays at 3.00pm returning Sundays and Tuesdays at 1.00pm, at Abel Point Marina in Airlie Beach. (please plan to arrive at the marina 30 mins prior to departure)

SCUBA DIVING ON WHITSUNDAY GETAWAY
Our dive costs are very reasonable, and you can decide onboard if you like. Please ask onboard about our special dive packages. Night dives can be arranged for certified divers only! (all equipment is carried onboard)

No experience is necessary for an introductory dive- as long as you in good physical health. If you wish to scuba dive and are worried about some previous medical condition, then please allow time to get a dive medical from an Australian medical practice ( they can do this here at Airlie Beach for around $60)

WHATS INCLUDED
* Friendly professional crew: Skipper, Dive Instructor \ Hostess.

* All meals freshly prepared aboard, plus included free, fruit bowl, tea, coffee and snacks.

* All berths are equipped with fresh linen and bath towels (byo beach towel )

* Snorkelling gear (mask snorkel and fins) is included, no extra charge.

* Stereo systems and MP3 players.

* Modern on-board computer for processing and enhancing digital dive photos.

What other costs are involved?
Your trip is all inclusive apart from a $43 EMC charge per person.
The cruise is also BYO. ( bring your own alcohol ) Please remember these are activity vessels.
For those who will be swimming or diving, wet suits are available for hire on the vessel. $15 for the whole trip (all other equipment is included free).
Wetsuits are replaced every three months, to maintain our very high standards
Scuba diving. (Onboard Diving packages are also available.)
